Who Are We?

I have a decade of home care and facility nursing and clinical management experience, 5 years of recruitment experience, and more than a decade of behaviour intervention experience. Though I have experience providing applied behaviour analysis based intervention, my philosophy of care includes only positive-reinforcement and gentle redirection based approaches, and embraces Ross Green's approach of "kids do well when they can". We need the learn the skills to function, but we aren't broken.

 

I myself am an Autistic ADHD’er with two twice-exceptional children so I have an intimate understanding of the lived experience of neurodivergence from two perspectives. I deal with infrequent selective mutism and have made many workarounds in my own personal life to have a full and robust experience.
